NIOS Online Admission Last Date Class 10th & 12th

NIOS online admission last date for Class 10th & 12th for the -March-April(Stream-1) session 2020-21 is 31, July 2020 without late fee and 15, September 2020 with a late fee. And NIOS online admission last date for Class 10th & 12th for the September-October(Stream-1-Block-2) session 2020-21 is 31, January 2020 without late fee and 15, March 2021 with a late fee. For Failed /Compartment students nios online admission remains open under stream 2 till 31st July.

How a student can save his year in NIOS

The NIOS Board provides more options to pass secondary, senior secondary than any other board in India. The Nios Board conduct examination twice in a year in April/May and in October/November which helps student in saving time and provide more opportunity to pass the examination. The Nios Board provides a special chance to a failed/drop out/compartment student to pass the exam in just 45 days under stream 3 and 4. Stream 3 and 4 are generally called on-demand examination. Under the On-demand examination, students can take admission according to their needs. Admissions are open round the year except for April-May-October-November month. have to write an exam for failed subjects only.

WHAT CBSE PRIVATE CANDIDATE MEANS?

WHAT CBSE PRIVATE CANDIDATE MEANS-Private Candidate means a person who is not a Regular Candidate but, under the provisions of byelaws of CBSE Chapter 5, is allowed to undertake and/or appear in the All India/Delhi Senior School Certificate Examination or All India/Delhi Secondary School Examination of the Board.

Persons eligible to appear as 'Private Candidate' at Delhi Senior School Certificate (Class XII) Examination

(i) A candidate who had failed at the Delhi Senior School Certificate Examination of the Board will be eligible to reappear at a subsequent examination as a private candidate in the syllabus and text books as prescribed for the examination of the year in which he/she will reappear.

(ii) The following categories of candidates shall also be eligible to appear as private candidates at the Delhi Senior School Certificate Examination of the Board on the conditions laid down in these byelaws: .

(a) teachers serving in educational institutions affiliated to the Board, who have already passed Secondary or an equivalent examination at least two years before taking the Senior School Certificate Examination. Teacher candidates shall submit his application form along with a certificate by the Head of School in which they are serving duly countersigned by the Director of Education of the State/Union Territory concerned to the Regional Officer of the Board of the region in which the teacher is serving;

(b) women candidates who are bonafide residents of the National Capital Territory of Delhi and have passed the Delhi Secondary or an equivalent examination at least two years before appearing at the Senior School Certificate Examination subject to conditions mentioned in byelaw 17(iii); and

(c) physically handicapped students having passed the Secondary School Examination or its equivalent at least two years before appearing at the Senior School Certificate Examination on producing reasonable evidence of having deficiency to attend normal
institutions for the purpose of studies.

(iii) Women/handicapped private candidates shall be required to satisfy the following additional conditions:

(a) that they have privately pursued the prescribed course of studies under proper guidance; and

(b) that they are unable to join a Senior Secondary School affiliated to the Board or there are such other reasons compelling them to appear at the examination as a private candidate.

Persons eligible to appear as Private Candidate for Delhi Secondary School Examination

(a) Candidates who had failed at the Delhi Secondary School Examination of the Board;

(b) Teachers serving in educational institutions affiliated to the Board;

(c) (i) Women candidates who are bonafide residents of the National Capital Territory of Delhi; and satisfy the following additional conditions:

(a) that they have privately pursued the prescribed course of study under proper guidance; and

(b) that they are unable to join a Secondary School affiliated to the Board or there are such other reasons compelling them to appear at the examination as a private candidate.

(ii) A women student who has left an institution at a stage earlier than or in class IX, shall not be permitted to appear at the examination as a private candidate in a year earlier than in which she would have appeared, had she continued her studies in a
recognized institution up to Secondary Examination.

(d) Physically handicapped students on producing reasonable evidence of having difficulty to attend normal institutions in the subjects not involving practical
training/ examination.

a) Those students (Male/Female) who have passed/failed in class IX or passed VIII class in or before 2020 from a Govt./ Govt. Aided/recognized school or failed in class X are also eligible for class X admission for CBSE Patrachar Vidyalaya for Class 10^th.

Those students (Male/Female) who have studied up to Class IX privately can seek admission on the basis of an affidavit.

b) The candidate must have completed 14 years of age as on 31st March 2020

NOTE- Patrachar Vidyalaya Students who fail in the X Class exam may get their exam form verified from the Patrachar Vidyalaya. They need not get admission again.

Those students (Male & Female) may seek admission directly to class XII having at least one year gap after passing class X exam, from recognized Board or failed in Class XI on the basis of original SLC duly countersigned by Education Officer/Competent authority.

(b) Students who have failed in class XII or equivalent an examination from a recognized Board/ University are eligible for admission to Class XII.

(c ) Students seeking admission in class XII on the basis of a duplicate copy of SLC duly countersigned by the Education Officer/Competent the authority must furnish AFFIDAVIT in the prescribed format annexed with the prospectus.

Note: However, Patrachar Vidyalaya students who have failed in XII class may appear directly as a private candidate and their exam forms shall be verified to CBSE from PV.

The student from abroad can deposit the fee in the Indian Mission concerned as a Fee for Patrachar Vidyalaya Delhi and attach the copy of the Chalan with the Admission Form

Cancellation of Admission

Admission of the student will be canceled without any further intimation under the following condition:-

If the admission form is incomplete.
If the fee paid in short.
If the supporting documents are not complete.
If the minimum criteria for admission is not fulfilled.
If the incorrect or wrong information is given.
If the secondary examination is not passed from a recognized board.

Note-In case of cancellation of admission paid fee will not be refunded.
